IT'S TIME TO PARTY!!!

The hard work is over and it is time to enjoy

the hard work and friendships that have 

been made!

Our boys need a night of recognition!

As every single one of our players has learned

so much and played so well they need to be 

recognized!

So far the date has been set for  

November 22nd 5:30-7:30

at Rock Creek Pizza

1276 West 12600 South in Riverton

 It is a great pizza place and it is ALL YOU CAN EAT!!

The boys and Coaches will be paid for.

Parents are encouraged to join and will be 7.99 per person

at the door!

We would like to honor the hard work of the Coaches

as well and ask you to donate to Coaches gifts.

We are asking for $10 per player to go towards this.
Please get me your $10 when you drop off your
equipment [details below] by the 16th!!

PLEASE NOTE NOT THE COACHES SONS!!! :)

Equipment Turn in

We are LATE!!!

Yes due to my lack in being around the past week

or two I missed getting all equipment from everyone!

My appologies!

I need to have ALL Equipment to ME by 

NOVEMBER 16TH!!!
(Find my home address in the
blue folder that was handed out
at the beginning of the year)

In getting all equipment to me the following needs to be done:

* Pants [practice and game] - need to be washed and dried

* Helmets - all stickers and trophies including stripe need to be removed

* Shoulder pads need to be intact

* Leg pads need to all be together and intact

All equipment needs to be to me by the date above so 

I can get them turned in to the District by the last day!

If this is NOT done we will NOT get our

team pictures!

PLAYOFFS!!!!

WOOT!  We are in like Flin!

We have made it!

Coach is SUPER confident we have a great chance

at our game on Saturday!

'sleeves' that Olympus has NOT

seen and we CAN BEAT THEM!

We have had an EXCELLENT season

so far and our boys have played GREAT!

Week 9 Game

Pep Rally

Pep Rally Details!!!

The Pep Rally is on Tuesday October 26th at 7pm!

It is very important for everyone to be on-time!

We are going to meet ahead of time to drive over together!

We will provide hot chocolate and donuts for the boys.

Please drop off your boys at our usual 

practice location at 6:30 pm. 

We will drive as a team over to Bingham.

At the pavillion we usually practice at we will have the

donuts and hot chocolate.  

We will also practice our 'cheer'.

Taukeiaho's have agreed to teach our boys either the 'Haka'

dance or another 'Polynesian' war dance!  We are very 

excited.  The boys will love it!  However, it is going to 

require a bit of homework and practice.

We will plan on practicing tonight at the end of practice.

We will also give a paper of the words to the dance

that the boys need to be practicing and be familiar with.

Poasi will lead the team in the dance and will

help out doing the actions, however, if your boys are not 

loud and doing the actions it just won't do it justice!

So please practice with your boys and go over the words!

Plan on sending your boys on Tuesday 

in full uniform to the place and time 

mentioned above.

We will be wearing our HOME (BLUE) jerseys!

Scrimmage

We are going to scrimmage again!

This time we are playing another Bingham Team

it will be at

South Jordan Elementary

(11205 Black Cherry Way)

on Wednesday October 27th at 5pm.

Be there!

Let's plan to wear our blue jerseys and practice pants!

(We are away again this Saturday)

Week 8 Game

Tournaments!!!

Very Very Very important for all of your opinions here!

There are two opportunities for our boys to play in tournaments.

However there is additional cost/time involved in them.

We need your votes as to whether you would like

your players to be involved one of them.

Here are the details, please cast your vote on the polls

on the side bar of the blog!

BORDERWARZ

This is held at Rio Tinto Stadium and Cottonwood High School.

Each team is placed in brackets by average age and weight as

well as if they are an A or B team.

There is a cost of $40 per player plus $100 a team.

It will be held November 16 - 20th.

It will be a fun opportunity for our boys to play at Rio Tinto! 

JAG BOWL

This is held at West Jordan (at least hosted by WJ assuming played there as well)

Games are played on November 6th and 13th.

The cost is $350 a team OR $20.60 per player. 

Both of these tourney's will quickly

fill up!

We need everyone's opinion as to whether you would

like your player to participate!  Please vote on the poll 

on the side! ASAP!!!
Per Coach....I will need at least 17 votes per poll to make a
determination!
If there are NOT 17 votes per poll I will have to hunt everyone
down and get your personal opinion! SO PLEASE VOTE
only 3 days to do it!!!

PEP RALLY

It is that time of the Season!

Time to get everyone 'PUMPED UP'!

For those parents who don't know,

every year there is a BIG Pep rally!

This year it is going to be held on October 26th 

at 7:00 pm at Bingham High School!

It is quite the event!

Everyone is invited to come, parents, 

grandparents, siblings, friends and neighbors!

It is free to get in and the boys LOVE IT!

They have their team '15 minutes of fame' moments!

They introduce each team and announce

their achievements.

At the end there is the 'burning of the B'!

You will all have to come to find out more

about that one! :)

So let everyone know the pep rally is going to be

Tuesday October 26th, 7:00 pm 

Bingham High School

I will have details later as to where we will have the

boys meet so they are ready for the pep rally!

They will need to be in FULL UNIFORM for 

this event!

Playoffs

As you all know playoffs are around the corner!

While right now as we sit we do NOT know

if we will be one of the top 4 teams to automatically

make it into playoffs, we have a chance at

being in the 4th qualifying team position to go!

There are a few things that need to take place

and we will unfortunately have to play

the waiting game to find out if it all pans out.

We MAY be in a 3-way tie position

If that is the case Tuesday November 2nd will

be the Tie Breaker Game.

There will be more details to come if we will in fact

be in that 3-way tie later!

Just for your information Playoffs are

November 6th and 13th.

There is a charge to enter these games as follows:

0-4 Free

5-11 2.00

12 and up 3.00

As with the preseason games, I believe these costs are used

as a fundraiser and all proceeds will be split between the 

districts that are participating.
